Dwarfs

Dwarfs are a durable race of ground-dwelling creatures. It is commonly believed that the first dwarfs were shaped out of stone. Most dwarfs are reincarnated out of cave-dwelling monsters which themselves are most commonly reincarnated from miners and metalworkers. As a result, they are known for their rock-like nature and crafting ability.

Dwarfs live up to 200 years and often spend large portions of their lives living in solitude. Those who settle within settlements most often were recently driven out of their last residence by a monster. Dwarfs seeking to have children will also most commonly do it within settlements, moving with their newfound spouse back into a solitary lifestyle as soon as they can.

Fully dwarven settlements are often in quarries due to their unique ability among good races to consume stone.
